My last Deardorff project

Dear Sirs
Here is my last current restoration.
I bought this deardorff at Glenview, in Chicago.
The set is more or less complete, and need a large restorations (19 parts).
The back was completely home made, I found Steels parts near Sir Barry C. Cochran.
After a complete dismantling, the wooden restorationswere made, and various fittings.
The varnish is in progress, from 1 month, I make a "French Varnish" which requires 12 layers of varnish.
The varnish is almost ended, the reassembly of the deardorff will be made the next weekend.
The bellows will be a home made one.

That's a nice sheen on that wood finish!
I can't see the other side of your camera, but if you're in need of hardware, Ebay user "attrevida" is a good source for original parts. I'm not affiliated, but I can recommend him from my experience as a former Deardorff owner.

Yes I found all the spares parts near "attrevida". Fantastic person, honesty and quality.
This refurb project is a very nice human adventure, and I project to make a trip in NC for a meeting with "attrevida".
The parts found near Barry are at the top of the quality, and the service is on the top.

Don't be bashful. You can sneak across the state line from NC into TN. Eastern Tennessee has a lot of landscape scenery, good fishing, good hiking and good camping.
If you should find your way to middle TN, let me know and I can recommend some places for you to visit, depending on your interests.
