    Large Format Lambda Printing

Anyone know of decently priced Lambda printing service that can handle 40"x50"?

Toronto Image Works' bulk printing is affordable (they do all of my printing).

An artist had an exhibition of lambda prints prepared at Elevator.. and there was a problem with every single one of them. I hope their quality control has improved.

    Sean

Looks like the issues you are referring to are a mounting issue. Apparently you are right we did piss off one of your friends. Though my partner had the cohonies to show up at your show even though there were issues with our mounting.

    sometimes we do make mistakes.

The files supplied to our lambda were on our press and go service and were prepared by your friend all we did was pass the files through the computers with no tweaks.

Are you not the same Sean Galbraith that sent me a resume looking to work at my lab, if so why would you want to work somewhere where there are quality issues??

    Dear Bob,

That's cruel and unusual. I don't think we'll be working together.

Sean might want to work there so he can make some money Bob. Your comment is the kind of thing that suppresses critical knowledge sharing among artists.

Now.. any one know of any cheap and decent labs that print Lambda or Lightjet 40"x50"?

    any experience with these guys?

Starkhaze , I think you should give your head a shake,
Our lab works with thousands of artists over the last 20years, and Sean feels he should publicly insult my lab on this forum.
I replied to this same thread and your call for Lambda prints 40x50.
    We have a 30inch machine.
Duggal in New York may be able to help you .

    Re: Large Format Lambda Printing

How is Sean dissing a business that works with photographers for over twenty years , sharing critical knowledge.

Your quest seems odd, any business worth it salt has pissed off clients. I have been in this lab business since 1980 and if you can name any Lab that has not made a mistake I will eat the shirt off my back.
Why don't you just build a relationship with a Lab that has a Lambda, simple google seach will suffice,

On this forum and others , you will find that I have always shared critical knowledge with forum members.. so take a hike.
