How much memory do you have?

Just wondering what people use who deal with large file sizes. What file sizes do you typically deal with when working on scanned large-format images?

Feel free to list your other workstation specifications. I might build a new computer in the near future and wondering what goes into a powerful graphics computer nowadays.

I have about an hour or so, sometimes 15 minutes. Getting worse as I get older I fear.

I always remember my wife's birthday and our anniversary.
    That's pretty good, I think.
So I guess I have enough.

Not sure about how much space the memory function takes, but I think my brain is about 1500cc. Does that info help?

Anyway, I didn't know how to vote. So, if I remember correctly, I abstained.

I would agree, but you need to know the addressible limits of your particular OS.

Re: How much memory do you have?

I remember what happened 50 years ago, but don't remember what I had for breakfast. So, it appears my ROM is in pretty good shape, with plenty remaining. RAM? Well...

Memory is only one piece of the puzzle. CPU, RAM capacity of the motherboard and the OS, hard drives, video card, and other software running on the machine also play into it.

I've reading up on systems from Puget Systems. http://www.pugetsystems.com/They look pretty darn good.
