Zone VI Pure Hypo gets the axe from Calumet

I tried ordering this morning, and there's no longer any trace of it on Calumet's Web site.

I've used the stuff religiously for almost 30 years.

In these days of quick almost no-cost communication, it seems to me Calumet could have contacted some of the loyal customers who buy this stuff on a regular basis and given us a heads-up.

Where do you folks get your pure hypo?

I'm heading over to the Photographer's Formulary Web site right now.

(BTW, 8x10 Tri-X wasn't in stock -- first time that's ever happened to me with Calumet.)

Artcraft Chemical--I bet it's half the price of what Calumet has been charging.

Thanks, Barry. I'll check it out. I looked at the Photog's Formulary site and am confused by the multitude of products. Less confusion on the Freestyle site.

Jeez. Does this mean I'm going to have to buy a chemical scale?

Digital postal scales can handle this very well.

My chemist friend converted my formulae to spoon measure. Keep it simple!
