    It was quite an experience climbing to the top of Cheops at 3:00am to do the photograph at sunrise. The climb down in the light was far worse since I could see how far I could fall. I was greeted by 7 guards with guns and managed to talk the $200 fine down to $10. I still look at the image after nearly 30 years and can't believe I climbed. I would never do it at this point in my life.

    Is it bad that I enjoy the shot with the camera in it more? Especially with your story attached.
