    No. I like it.

I would have moved very slightly to the right, to center the middle foreground column between the two in the background, but that's just a nit, and personal opinion.

    Nice shot.

Believe it or not at the beginning of the 20th century this was a luxury hotel. Tourism slid and the hurricanes did their damage. Now it is being overgrown by brush and choked by climbing vines.

This structure used to be quite the hot spot for kids back in the day. 8x10@270

Dave, that is really strange but I like it. Is it an actual scene or is it a blend? Either way is fine with me since it works. Did I say it was strange?

Hi Joe, yes it is a strange one. I found this shot in some abandoned outbuildings behind Casa Colonels, which is a tourist attraction of the island. The hill in the distance is an extinct volcano, hence the perfect conical shape. I've no idea why the drums were put in the wall, and I can only assume the circular trough was either for feeding animals or some kind of grindstone?

Tree and vines growing near the foundation wall of Hampton Furnace. The Pinelands are full of old ruins. There's little left of most of them.

Very cool, Joe. I spend some time with LF in the Pinelands. Any idea how to stabilize a tripod on a sphagnum moss bog?
