    480mm Apo-Ronar

Gentlemen, I'm looking for a bit of information. I have a 480mm/19" Apo-Ronar on the way and I wonder what size the filter thread is. The lens is marked up for apertures on one side (f9-f260) but it's engraved in red the other side and marked 2-50mm. Any ideas what this is about. Thanks for any help.
    Pete.

    The last Apo-Ronar 480mm has a filter thread of M 67 x 0.75mm.

The mm-scale shows the mechanical diameter of the iris diaphragm. Wide open it should be 53.33mm.

Actually, this is the Rodenstock web site.

The link you used was to a distributor's web site.

Bob, that's right. And I see Rodenstock have a new web site. The problem with Rodenstock's site is, that contrary to Schneider, they don't list data for lenses that are out of production (at least I wasn't able find them ). The data was once on Paul Butzi's site, but it seems that he updated his site without the data.

    Cheers,
    Marko
