My post yesterday was more about getting some help on value of lenses. I find it kind of uptight to just delete it without responding. The added "if anyone was interested" to my post was not in my mind a hard sales pitch. I guess I'll not be involved with this forum in the future.

I think the moderators see a lot of spam so they don't have much tolerance or spend much time figuring out whether yours is a hard or soft sales pitch or responding to it in detail.
If you left out that line you would have been fine. Except for spam they don't do much moderation at all. You might consider that before leaving.
Please re-create your post. As Jack said, the moderators sometimes make mistakes. We are volunteers
