Sekonic L-488 AV & SP slide on handle

    Hi all,

I just bought a Sekonic L-488 used. Its in great shape and I'm sure I'm going t o like using it. However, I have a question: On the handle there is a slide sw itch that allows you to choose AV and SP. Can anyone tell me what those setting are used for???

Thanks in advance for your help!!!

SP stands for spot and AV stands for average. You can either mesure with the spot in the viewfinder or an average of evrything you see in the finder.
