Exhibition and 3/14 lecture at National Heritage Museum, Lexington

For you Easterners who missed my Santa Monica show in 2007, “Treasured Lands”, my series of 58 large format images of the National Parks (one for each park), is now on exhibit at the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, MA, less than half an hour away from Boston.

The exhibition opened on Feb 20 and will run through Oct 17, 2010, so there is plenty of time, however, I will deliver a Lowell Lecture about the project at the Museum in exactly two weeks, on Sunday March 14 at 2pm. I'll talk about the project background and the esthetics of large format in it, as well a give a behind-the-scenes story about some images. There will be also a Gallery walk (given by the museum staff that I will brief personally) on Sunday March 21 at 2pm.

Just came back from the museum. Beautiful images and excellent lighting. It's one of those exhibits that on the way out you're already thinking in coming back.
    Thanks QT for the opportunity.
