Chamonix 8x10 to 4x10 dark slide

If anybody is using the Chamonix "L" dark slide (8x10 to 4x10) on a 810 Chamonix, I would be interested in your real world experience. Thanks!

Robert, I have one. It can only be used with Chamonix holders, as smooth as the darkslides of the holders. Of course, you should avoid direct sunlight as usual.

BTW, How is your experience with cooke 945?

Songyun, I decided to change to an 11x14 Chamonix and extremely pleased. Just discovered that Chamonix is offering these "L" dark slides for 11x14. How much margin do you have between frames?

    Let me check later tonight.
Just one more thing, sometimes a small tilt might occur, but it can be easily corrected by checking the outside parts see if it is parallel, I recommend you practice a little bit with empty holder, you will see.

I am back, I measured the difference between the L side and empty side, The difference is near 5mm. Unfortunately, I only have two negative using L slides, both have tilted a little bit.
