    Paul Caponigro's Seasons

I was browsing through this book today. Nice B&W nature photos.

First of all, it's dedicated to someone at Polaroid. Struck me kinda funny as people I deal with at large companies are changing jobs all the time. Though there are hardworking people at lots of companies, I'd probably not dedicate a book to one.

Noted that every photo in the book was 4x5 shaped and appeared to be of contact print size.

Got to the end where the notes are. Every image in the book was one of three types of Polaroid film.

Makes me wish I got into LF when Polaroid LF was still in production.

Didn't Paul Caponigro have a consulting contract with Polaroid? Didn't Ansel get it for him? Thus the dedication?

Paul dedicated the book to Meroe Morse. She ran the research lab for Dr. Land and was intrumental in developing the negative/positive process, working at Polaroid from 1945 until her death in 1969.

Almost all of the photographs in "Seasons" were made while Meroe was alive and Paul was a consultant for Polaroid.
