Great shot, Ed. I haven't thought about Grosse Tete and Maringouin and all those towns on that side of the river in 40 years. Used to go back and forth to Baton Rouge on highway 1. Used to hop over the bayou to 308 to evade the sheriff's deputies at times too. Then the sunshine bridge was built and the drive got less interesting.
