    Re: Just Clouds

So we were driving from Tonopah to Goldfield to see what else we could photograph last weekend but we got sidetracked by the sort of clouds that you don't see every day. The four of us set up on the side of the road, focused and composed and waited for the traffic to clear. Then we took turns running out to the middle of the road, aiming and shooting during a break in the traffic. This shot was with a wide angle 90mm lens with a red filter, Delta 100 film developed in Rodinal:
Yeah. I'm familiar with Photoshop. It's the place I buy my film.

The cloud type on your picture is called Cumulus humilis. The most common cloud developing in good warm weather...

    Chris.
And bear in mind that while JRFrench is technically correct as regards highways, the summit of the Crown Range Rd on TeWaiPounamu is higher than the Desert Rd.

    Cheers

Mostly clouds, since I was in a cloud. Quite interesting leaning over the rail, not seeing anything, but knowing that it was a might long drop.
