    D-76 Purple???

I just mixed batch of this 1:1 with distilled water. A few days later in a air tight jug, the working solution is purple. I don't remember this happening before. Is this normal?

I would say it is contaminated-----it is not supposed to be purple.

Did you perhaps use the mixing jug or the storage jug at some stage for indicator stop bath? The purple could be the indicator as the solution of D76 is alkali at about pH 8.3

    Just a thought.
