    FP4 10 x 8 in Japan

I am in Osaka at the moment. I need some FP 4 10 x 8 quickly. Is there anywhere in Osaka where I can buy a box ?

    Google was not very helpful.

You could try one of the large national chains - Yodobashi Camera or Bic Camera. However, I'd guess that these days they don't stock 8x10 in most locations.

The distributor for Ilford in Japan is:

    Cyber Graphics Corporation
    1-8-11 Kandanishiki-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, 101-0054, Japan

    Tel 00 81 50 5533 3301
    Fax 00 81 3 5283 6568

    Website http://www.ilfordphoto.jp (entirely in Japanese)

Forget it. You won't find any FP4 in 8x10 here, I order all of mine from BH. Cybergraphics only imports FP4 and HP5 in 4x5 sizes only and that you have to order direct from them. At the big Yodobashi in Umeda you can probably get Fuji Acros in 8x10 and probably some Tmax 400. If you order from National Photo in Tokyo they have Tri-X in 8x10. It has been about a year since I have been down to Osaka, so my info be slightly out of date.

    Good Luck.

Thanks for the advice. I will try for the Tri X.

As an extra thought, Cooke have made some more triplets.
