Been away from here for too long. This 5x7 wet plate was shot on trophy aluminum; a chocolate colored variety offered for a while by Main Trophy, but sadly I found out today discontinued. Century No 2 8x10 with Jody Ake plate holder, 12" Hyatt Petzval bought here on the forum. All natural light, 10s exposure.

I have a number of 5X7 glass negatives that my Grandfather (Carl George Jensen) took from about 1910-1940. Somewhere in the later years the Conley was sold to pay for an operation for one of his daughters. Is there an interest in this forum of these photographs? I can scan some of these as time permits and post them. If there is no real interest I can save myself the time. I have posted two of these previously and they can still be viewed on this thread. Please let me know as I have no way of knowing if there is any interest. You will not hurt my feelings if the answer is no interest.
    Thank you, Carl E Jensen.

    YES there is interest!

Post them here and under found old photos. There's a thread for that. Most of us highly treasure such historic art.
