After many years of shooting just casual digital I fell for a nearly mint Ansco 5x7 on EBay. I mean where can you find a world class camera for $150?
Here are my first few attempts to shake off the rust:
So I am new to scanning 5x7's, which I did above on an Epson V-700. How do you all do it? I put the film emulsion side down and used coins at the corners to hold the film flat. Do people use a glass on top of the negative? My scans are sharp, but not perfect.
I use a V700 and a better scanning holder.

I got the AN glass so I could do both dry and wet scanning, but almost always do wet.
