Some beautiful images on this thread, folks, kudos ... but they're all SHARP!

Exposed and processed in 1993 but never printed before (I'm running a little behind). Verito 14.5" @ f/5.6, B&J Rembrandt 8x10 with a 5x7 reducing back. Norman strobes, 3x4 (?) soft box.

The proportions of 5x7 are very appealing to me, then and now.

I hope these are appropriate for this thread! First shots from my new to me Burke and James 5x7" camera, taken on 13x18cm Ilford Delta 100 with Schneider 150mm Apo-Symmar F5.6 MC for the first 2 and Rodenstock 240mm Sironar-N F5.6 for the 3rd. Tray devoloped in ID-11.

Lovely "test" shots, Alasdair! I like the Becher style in the first. Having to read all that text about taking care about this and that ...

The last one says "300 mm" in the tags on Flickr, by the way.

C&C welcome. Really like the 5x7 format, especially after using 8x10 for so long... Maybe the perfect format in some ways, but still really enjoy 8x10 as well.

I always enjoy your images along the creeks - they are so much like my area...probably because I am not that far from you, being in south central VA. As for 5X7 - I am just now stepping back into it. I got rid of my 5X7 a few years back and stuck with 4X5 and 8X10, but I have always loved the look of a 5X7 print matted and framed, and since I have gotten into cyanotype printing, I decided to get another 5X7 camera. Just purchased one from a forum member...when it arrived a week or so ago, turned out to be the one I sold on the forum 5 years ago. Seller must have purchased it from the member I sold it to.
