    I continue to be wow'ed by how well your pictures work living in the "middle grey" zones.

    Is this a function of your developer, or how you set levels in photoshop?

    I can't read your essay as the link seems broken.......so my two cents. To me the most interesting photographs tend to be ugly subjects seen beautifully. The contrast is very dynamic.

    I hope my previous posts didn't sound rude, I was just trying to be concise.

    I may be wrong, but it seems to me that in Fine Art photography, the most important factor is tonality. Tonality is to a photograph, what flavor is to food.
