Great shot, Thomas. Shows the holiday rush/season perfectly.

Swansea docks and the new waterfront development
Jim, Stone, Bazz: thank you very much.
I have to say that the shot was not planned like this at all but is the result of lucky coincidences. I had visualized to take a rather static architectural shot of the three buildings with the Christmas decoration. When I was setting up the camera I noticed the heavy street traffic and decided it was ok to have some light traces in the foreground. And when I finally had set up everything and was about to insert the holder the parcel delivery pulled up and parked right in the picture. I thought this would somehow ruin the composition, but since I had everything set up and the delivery was taking time I made the exposure anyway.
So much for planning vs. the luck of the moment.

The Norwegian Church in Swansea south wales. back when the docks where used in the 1900's we used to import timber from Norway for pit props in the mines, some of the Norwegian sailors decided to stay on and built this church. Tho it has been moved from its original location.
