I noticed it takes noticeably long to post a reply lately (last few days or so, perhaps a week). Didn't we have this issue before and wasn't it solved?

I've noticed that too. I'll check it out.

Dear Marko,
I have the same issue too, especially when I load a response, and for the moment the issue happens to be inconsistent. The issue is magnified when I submit a new image to any group subject, so much so, I think the server may be reviewing the post before the site accepts the posting. Then again, it could be something as pure as the user load on the server, or the server's IP grouping.

same for me. Some posts hang for 20 or 30 seconds before doing their stuff.
Bit of database maintenance required probably. Dump and reload with index rebuild would probably sort it.
Same here.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be
a mile away and you'll have their shoes.
Same here.
I keep getting an error message: "Error #666. Not an intelligent repsonse. Please re-post after googling." Maybe it's a new filter on the forum???
The delay seems to be a hang-up after the posting. I gave up waiting... hit the send button, count 10 then reload the page. Posting has always been there so far.
Delay noticed here too. An indication is that there is an increase in the number of double postings. I guess we are an impatient bunch.

It seems to be ok now. An intermitent problem based on high server demands? We are waiting for our tech guy to weigh in.
Thanks,
Kirk
