    Alternative printing Down-under

I first read about alternative printing methods way back in '84 when I started photography, and was particularly fascinated with platinum/palladium printing. Years later, and with an 8x10 camera on the way, I'm keen to give these processes a try, but there's a catch! Australia seems to be without the chems! I've been able to track down Cyanotype kits from Vanbar in Melbourne (not too expensive either) but I haven't been able to find any leads on platinum/palladium kits.

Does anyone know if such a thing exists in this country? I've yet to look into the possibility of importing the kits from OS (import restrictions/safety/etc), but I would prefer to obtain the kit locally if possible.

    Suggestions please!

You could try contacting the people at Gold Street Studios since they run a lot of Alternative process courses. http://www.goldstreetstudios.com.au/

Hi Paul, many thanks! I've sent them an email, so I'm hoping they can point me in the right direction
