    uploading photograph

I'm having trouble uploading a photograph from my computer. It's 119KB and under the limitations of the pixel dimensions. After clicking on upload, it ultimately kicks me to a window that says invalid post requested and wants me to login, that I'm currently here as a guest. Any help please.

    Thanks

Are you currently logged in? Check the top right hand corner of the page and if it doesn't say "Welcome, Chuck P.", then either you need to log in, or you are not letting your computer hold onto the cookie that tells the board you are logged in.

At least that's my best guess

In all instances of trying to upload, I have been logged in already------sorry I didn't make that very clear.

    Re: uploading photograph

Was successful uploading (after many tries) a curve yesterday, but still can't upload a photo. Still getting kicked to the "Welcome, your're currently visiting as a guest" page when I am already logged on.

Any thoughts at all as to why this is happening, don't know where to begin.
    Thanks

Chuck, this sounds more like you are refusing the necessary cookies for the site to work. But I could be talking through my tripod

suggest you log out which will tell you it has deleted all cookies which is a lie because it doesn't. Then go and manually delete cookies and files from cache.
Then close all browsers. Then try again. And if you have permanent cookies switched off / blocked, then you better enable them for "largeformatphotography.info".

I have permanently allowed cookies for this site, deleted the cache and still not working.........not there yet, but I'm about ready to say forget it. Any other options to entertain, I must be doing something wrong or something is still not set correctly.

    Thanks again

    FYI......

It will upload the curve that you see (27.9KB, 650x408 dimension), but will not upload two files from the same location that are: 99.6KB, 387x487 dimension an 151KB, 504x640 dimension. Perhaps this will help provide a clue.

    Thanks again

they are jpegs aren't they? GIF's have to be a bit smaller according to the upload form.

p.s. did you delete cookies and not just the cache?

Yes, they are jpegs and I deleted cookies and temporary internest files. It's not making sense, how does the upload know if it is an actual photograph vs. something else, what difference should it make when it falls within the boundaries of the size limitations? IDK.
