a walk along the Jordan - Tillman Crane

Tillman Crane's new book is outstanding as usual, finely seen and beautifully printed work. No 5x12 images this time; all are either 8x10 or 6x10. The Golden Ratio works very well in many of the images (especially in the verticals). I'm glad I had a 7x11 made!
When I was 16 I thought my father the stupidest man in the world; when I reached 21, I was astounded by how much he had learned in just 5 years!

    Thanks, Richard.
All(?) the images are in a slideshow on his website. Be sure to click on the "Full Screen" option for maximum viewing pleasure. I'd love to see the original platinum prints.

The original prints are really great! I saw them at Tillman's workshop earlier this month.

Tillman's books are inspiring (I have two). His platinum prints are beautiful; and his workshops are invaluable. Also he's a nice down-to-earth guy who's willing to share his information & knowledge. Suggest signing up for his newsletter.

A couple of weeks ago, Tillman came through and showed us the prints from the show. Oh my goodness. They just sang of the western light. And if you have ever been to Salt Lake City and seen this poor excuse for a river, you will gain a new appreciation for Tillman's aesthetic vision.

The book is beautifully produced and is marvelously printed in quadtone.

    What a gem.
