The darkroom is small and L shaped. The first photo is taken from the doorway. The second photo was taken from the right of the enlarger as seen in the first photo looking around the corner and down the sink. There are drying racks just below the field of view in the photo that shows the enlarger.

OK now that its a actual working darkroom, I thought I better stick it up. Sink is a 2400mm x 660mm internal 2 pot epoxy DIY job.

Dare I ask what process requires the use of the helmet?

It is true that, although I wear goggles sometimes in the darkroom,
I only use the helmet to ride a motorbike. But, who knows I will ever
need it! Just in case, it is better to have at hand.

I wish I had more than a rickety old table in a semi-dark room. But that's enough to get me started making 8x10 contact prints, for now.

Well I picked up this beauty a few weeks ago. I got her hauled up the stair and finally made some prints last week. I picked it up from a Student at UNT that was graduating and no longer needed it. Its an 10"x10"" Durst 184, CLS300 dichroic color head, mixing chambers for 8x10, 5x7 and 4x5, three lens, Schneider 360mm, a Schneider 300mm Componon 5.6 and one other, two glass carriers, cooling fans, four bulbs, plus a few extras. This thing is a beast, but also very nice and easy to use. Yep that's a little step ladder so I can reach the head.
