Oh yes! When I was in college I drove a second hand 1968 Chevrolet Impala. Two doors, it was seventeen and a half feet long, had a "small block" 5.7 liter V-8, 2 speed automatic transmission. It got about 12 miles to a gallon on leaded gas. God that was a beautiful car! Now I drive a Subaru with 2 L four cylinder, AWD, paddle shifters on the steering column, closest I will ever get to a Porsche 30 mpg. It never ceases to amaze me how huge the vehicles people drive in the US, it's nothing but huge pickup trucks. I am to cheap :-)

I bought a '58 Impala (the first model I'm pretty sure) just out of college; it had the 348 cu.in. engine also. After 1.5 yrs the reverse gear went out and turned out Chevy already a replacement kit available for it (which didn't speak well for it durability). Drove it for 4 yrs before trading it in for a new '63 Mercedes 190SL roadster (poor man's 300SL), just before moving out of Los Angeles for greener pastures. I was then very happy. I now return you to LF darkrooms.

The gray electrical box controls all the safelights. The pegboard is to have something to keep my negative carriers handy and to stop reflections from the white wall.

I had 2 female SP4s working with in the darkroom you described. I probably should have made a movie about the "fun" we had in that mobile darkroom!
Any time somebody wanted access to the darkroom we would tell them we were processing film and couldn't open the light-tight door ........................

I trained in what we called an "antique 7". Not really trained but visited during 84b20 training. Early 70's time frame Ft. Monmouth. I'm not certain but I think they had a way to process e-4 or e3.

My darkroom closet 5x6 and shared with the water heater which helps keep it warm in winter. No running water yet.

I was there in 1971. I was 84G20. Yes, they could do E-3 processing.

Why don't you hook up the print washer? The water comes in at the bottom and leaves at the top, providing a more uniform wash. I hooked up mine with a garden hose mount, so I can disconnect it quickly.

Laziness, I have been using the fill and dump method. Headed to the hardware store this weekend to find the right size tubing and hose mount.

Will also be seeking a small air conditioner to cool the garage down a bit in the summer.

Question - What is the temperature range for chemical storage? Garage runs between 40 and 80 (maybe more if we get a heat wave for several days)
