    Newbie film holder question...

OK, camera is on the way. I need some film holders though. Which is the best way to go?? Are their particular brands that are easier/better than others? What about the Grafmatic holder? What about a quickload holder and the film that goes with it? (Seems easy but quite expensive.) Not particularly interested in a roll film holder or instant film back at this time.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Oh, camera is a Crown Graphic 4x5..

    Regards, Tom

Looks like most of my answers are on the LF home page and in a search of previous posts.. Should have looked there first! -T.

just buy the newer plastic ones off ebay. don't buy ones with darkslide locks, as they are a pain to use-and moving the darkslide to the point where the catch disengages can occasionally expose a strip of your film.
