Riverman's first 5x4 shots of the river

Sorry to start a new thread - doesn't really merit it. But I was so excited to post my first scans of some LF shots. I've been shooting LF for about a year now but these two (that I made this summer in London before leaving for my 2 year stint in DC) are my first effort at shooting positives in LF - before the summer I'd only shot colour and b&w print film. Please offer your feeback and critique of the photos. Thanks. Sean

Sean, nice light in both images and I like the crop on the second one. You are going to have fun in Yosemite!

Cheers Jim. I'm not brave enough to shoot E6 most of the time. I should start shooting more of it.

If you do shoot more I think a warming filter in Yosemite will come in handy. Been a long time since I shot color but I think that should do it. You will be very happy you brought the 4x5.
