Merg, they look like Eucalyptus leaves. Would that be correct? Your presentation of them is very visually appealing. I am enjoying seeing your pics being posted; they provide valuable lessons in our craft.

Indeed, the leaves are Eucalyptus. (Short history) The trees were brought from Australia between 1910-1914 and planted around the East Bay Hills where I live. The hope was to harvest the lumber and use as railroad sleepers and telephone poles. However, they turned out to be the wrong species, as the wood chipped and split when dried.
Here is a recent scanned lith print I did as part of a landscape series.
