    Got too old and lazy to go to the beach, even without a camera. Taking an 8x10 is a great idea though, if you can do it. 12x20 even better. David: Excellent picture of the driftwood.

    I'm at or near the Beach routinely with the 8x10, especially the Pt Reyes area. I
    just make sure things are well cleaned afterward, of saltwater spray etc.

    I'll risk the wrath of resurrecting this aging thread. First time I've seen it.

    One taken at Cape May NJ with my old 4x5 monorail. I keep meaning to go back and do some more. Bob G.
    All natural images are analog. But the retina converts them to digital on their way to the brain.

    Yes, but I cover my tripod feet with zip lock bags to keep the sand out.

    A beach or not a beach. That is the question. Close enough for the thread I guess.

    And to think they're talking about tearing this historic bridge down to make way for the super size cargo ships from Taiwan. Why do we let progress do these things to us?
