flooding the board with FS posts....!

Yeah, I think we ought to all post about a hundred things for sale each day...so that nobody a can find the informative posts for the classifieds....hell, why not just get rid of all those pesky categories and just have the classifieds and the politics and religion free zone!

Sorry... I didn't intend to flood the forum. I'm just trying to raise some badly needed cash. Are my items overpriced? Which ones?

It's easy enough to filter out threads you don't want to see. What works for The Lounge should work for FS...

If you think the price is too high, you are free to not buy it. Or to counter-offer a ridiculously low price, so that both you and seller can comfortably ignore each other.

    Dear Brad,

I set the "For Sale" section on ignore, because I could not see any post except the periodic flood of individual saleable items. If any forum member has several items to sell immediately, I believe it may be better for the forum member to list all the items in a single post, which I could read at my leisure.

Everyone, including myself, unknowingly makes an error or two that tend to annoy other folks, and although I may not know that this situation exists, some polite individual usually steps forward, and quickly whispers a few value added words in my ear.

I now go to the "For Sale" section as I please, by removing the ignore status...

Ahh... yes. I guess I should have done that. Thank you for the advice, Jim. FWIW, I'll never do that again.

If I need to bump again I'll only do groups of five items and only a couple times a day (different items). I just didn't realize it was such a problem. Again, I'm sorry and I won't repeat that mistake.

    Hey Mike,

    No need to apologize.

There is a FS section on the forum. You have just as much right to use it as anyone else. Anyone who does not Want to look at the section or your post are free to ignore either.

Some members will get something they like due to your fund raising activities!

You'll know in a couple of days without anyone having to tell you.

But I do hope you get what you need. The one thing on your list that interested me was priced well and sold quickly.
