LF Photographers in Edinburgh (or anywhere in Scotland)

Hi Colin

I live in Mid Calder, which you probably know is just outside the city. I'm new to LF and am still putting my gear together, but have many years experience in 35mm and medium format.

It's deeply frustrating how LF seems to be a Cinderella area here in the UK whilst there is such a vibrant community in the States and other countries. I know there is a loose group based in the South (around the Wye Valley which is where I come from).

I think a group which can meet and talk LF up here would be a great idea, in the meantime a coffee or preferably beer sounds like a great idea. I have a couple of friends in my local camera club who may also be interested in breaking away from the small format/digital arena.

I live in Ballater, a couple hours north of Edinburgh. I'm arranging a workshop with American photographers Kim Weston and Randy Efros in August of this year in Arbroath. Hello, I am a new LFP member, Edinburgh. Perhaps we have enough in the area to develop fraternal contacts/links/meeting? By background, 35mm & 6x6 mostly, but have held out that one day the slower pace of LF would make room for me - all I have for this now, is 4x5 Speed Graphic and 9 holders, bits n bobs, and sturdy Manrotto tripod. Now to shift "focus" to a whole other way of seeing. Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

When we take them to Australia they become 4x5
