Here are a couple of shots I took with 2 different Pinkham lenses. You can see that they are entirely different characters and to make this fun, I thought I would name them A and B and let everyone post their guesses. I will reveal the answers when we've had a little fun with them. Hope this is not too much of a tease....

i am not sure i am qualified to guess but i must say these are two fantastic shots!

i guess A is a bi quality.

IMO B is the one i prefer the most of the two.

Jim, did you ever shoot any pics with the Pinkham Bi-Quality you got from me? Perhaps I missed them when I was sick and not checking the forum.

My guess is that image (A) is the Series V Synthetic, and that image (B) is the Bi-Quality or Series IV Visual Quality. I believe that the Series V is softer in some regards and direction of the glow is based more on where a particular section is located in-regards-to the center of the image circle... Notice how the window latch bleeds more toward the center of image (A), while with image (B) the glow is more subtle and omnidirectional. Of course both lenses would be effected by the lighting conditions and how it is focused.
