    Printing workshop

I am thinking of attending a darkroom printing workshop in the beginning of next year. I live East coast and would like to keep travel time down to a minimum. I would appreciate any recommendations. Thanks

    Re: Printing workshop

In April the New England Large Format Photography Collective is having some workshops in Mass or Ct. Allot has not been finalized. I'm not sure if there will be printing workshops, but I would bet there will be. Contact Steve Sherman and see what they have finalized.
    Thanks,

    Re: Printing workshop

I can't tell where you live but since your shows have been in Florida I assume it's Florida. You might see what the Palm Beach Photographic Workshops has to offer. They used to have some excellent darkroom workshops but they're more oriented to digital these days so I don't know what they have now.

I've attended several workshops at Maine Media. They were good workshops and Maine's a nice place. But if you live in Florida you could fly to California about as easily as flying to Maine and if you were willing to fly to California you could take one of John Sexton's darkroom workshops. I've taken four weeks worth of his darkroom workshops as well as others and as far as I'm concerned John is the gold standard when it comes to darkroom workshops.
