It seems everyone wants to just discuss/fight and not answer my question, other than you Dominique Cesari.Thank you again, I guess I will just calibrate it like fotoman said for the curvature of field.

I have a fair bit of experience calibrating lenses on our Fotoman 617 camera... for 90mm and longer, calibrate at the center. For 72, 75 and 80mm lenses, calibrate to mediate their inherently large curvature of field. With the 72XL in particular, you may have to try this a few times to find the perfect spot. The 72XL is by far THE most difficult to calibrate.

Hello Paul, of course you do, thank you. In regards to the fotoman 612 and a 150 lens. Would you suggest that I calibrate in the center?
    Thanks again
