Can I use the Zone VI stabilizer on Aristo D2 cold light?

Hi,
I have an Aristo D2 cold light, and a ZONE VI cold light + stabilizer. I want to connect the Aristo with ZONE VI stabilizer, please tell me if this will work? I put together but don't work, (I use without the sensor);
Please tell me I must put the sensor (photo cell) on the Aristo head to work the Zone VI stabilizer?

The D2 would need the sensor to work with the stabilizer.
