    Hello from Los Angeles

    Hi all.
    I'm new to large format, but not new photography. I do mostly black and white 35mm and medium format stuff and develop it myself. I have to say, developing 4x5 seems a little bit more intimidating. If anyone has any tips on where I should start reading up on developing, I'd really appreciate it.

    Also, Using the View Camera by Simmons and A User's Guide to the View Camera by Stone have sections on developing film in trays and hangers.

    Welcome to group therepy! Once you've processed a few sheets, regardless of method (dip tank, roller tube, tray, etc.) you won't find it intimidating at all.
