Erik nice to see work from another gumover printer. I'm curious, from whom did you learn the process?

Thanks Kerik, I learned through books and the Internet and many screw ups mistakes were my best teacher! I would enjoy seeing other peoples methods but I'm in an alternative process desert where I live and it's difficult to collaborate with others. Drop by some time and show me your methods

Just finished working out my custom file for my ExpoDev app. The process of developing test negatives of HP5 in APH-09 went pretty smoothly with Fred Newman at the View Camera store. The file was easy to download into the program and the PDF files of the film and development curves was also informative. The only glitch was that I wasn't paying attention and set my meter for 400 ASA instead of the 100 ASA required for the program so my first set of exposures were awful. Here we see the result of a super test of the program. The exposure was a slight closeup with bellows extension and lit with a single table lamp. The exposure was 15 minutes at f45 so the programs reciprocity feature was in full swing. The SBR was 8 which was the pretty much the limit for this film and developer combo. The print was made using ziatype.

Here is another attempt using a puddle pusher rod to coat Bergger COT-320. This one seems better than other attempts and the coating is pretty even. I am still have difficulty with get a good even coat, and think I need to increase the amount of solution. This was from a negative processed for #2 paper, and I added on drop of the contrast control solution, which was already diluted 50%. So that would be 1/2 drop.

very nice, looks 3-D like I could just walk right into it. I think the paper texture helps that effect
