This is my workflow for alternative prints with dig negs - I have the Epson 4900 so I cannot print larger than 17" anyway. I get 22"x30" watercolor papers and divide them into two 15"x22" pieces. I mask and coat an area of about 13"x19". I print my dig negs size 14"x21".
    Sorry for the long-winded answer.

Thanks. I just like to know as, if I ever get crazy enough to buy another printer, I want it only for dig negs.

It will be Epson with Piezo. I tried to be a rebel with a Canon. NG

How much is Fomaspeed Liquid Photo Emulsion with Hardener - 1 kilogram, in your area? Here it seems only Freestyle stocks it and it is $125. Not a bad price, I am just curious. I think you buy by the case! I am ordering some with my next paycheck. I really like the idea of using it on good heavy art paper. I think FOMA recommends a flat smooth paper.
thanks. The price here is more lik e100$ so it is close - still a lot cheaper then most other brands, and I find it better and easy to use... (I normally buy 10kg's at a time as I have students...)

Try it - you won't be dissapointed! (I never use the hardener btw.)

img106 PGTips toned by rabato, on Flickr

This was hard to scan. The print is very flat but also subtle in a nice way. The original cyanotype was very dark. Bleached and toned with PG Tips black tea.
I think I am leaning towards Rooibos and its cooler qualities (thanks Galdolfi for the tip). Also definitely loving the 5x7 size for contacts. 8x10 is a bit too big for home display.
