    Thanks. I guess I need to explore this are more. So many amazing groves up in the Redwoods. I envy Vaughn and love my once a year visit. may need to increase my visits as I love the environment and have not even scratched the surface.

    I have been photographing along the same stretch of creek for 30+ years -- and I feel the same way...

    Fantastic images in this thread, I love alternative processes. Currently I work in Gum Bichromate over Cyanotype but I have dabbled in Platinum/Palladium, Wet Collodion, and Van Dyke. I've picked up the supplies for Albumen prints but have yet to start it.

    I went back several pages and didn't see any gum prints, so here are a few of mine

    From my last trip to the Redwoods. A couple of carbon transfer prints. So hard to show the detail in the scans but these prints are something to see. Especially in the shadows.
