I've never had much of an interest in any of the alternative techniques... well, this thread has caused a 'see' change.

I know I'm responding to an old post but I just wanted to add that whilst I appreciated them, I had no real interest in any alternative techniques either.

But last month I attended a free two day workshop on albumen printing and now intend to try it myself at home.

Ragne is a brilliant photographer - she was to be married so her girlfriends "kidnapped" her and took her to where I was.... Then she was "ordered" to be a model for an afternoon... Quite fun!

Carbon transfer from digital negative. On Hahnmule Multi Media, acrylic sized. Part of a 10x14 that fits on my scanner. From a 5x7 fp4 neg scanned, 210mm fujinar.

I love bromoil!!
I love how different results I can get from the same negative...

Sorry to bring this back from so many pages ago, but what do you use for ink with your bromoils?
