Pardon me for this post, after a search on older post, I couldn't find much information about this particular lens.
Perhaps there might be a user of this already since the last post/querry about it was 3 years ago.
I wonder if anyone can provide a feedback on the this lens: LF Topcor 90mm F 5.6.
This is not the Topcor that Horseman made for their popular Topcon Horseman Press Medium format lens.
Horseman made the following largeformat lenses:
LF Topcor 90mmF5.6 - 4groups 7elements。Image circle 236mm。
LF Topcor 150mmF5.6 - 4groups 6elements。Image circle 210mm。
LF Topcor 180mmF5.6 - 4groups 6elements。Image circle 230mm。
LF Topcor 210mm F5.6 - 4groups 6elements。Image cirle 295mm。
LF Topcor 300mmF5.6 - 4 groups 6elements 。Image circle 420.
In comparison Fujinon's SWD 90 F5.6 has an image circle of 236 while the SW 90 F8 with an image circle 216. Nikkor's SW 90 F4.5 and SW90 F8 onther hand both have an image circle of 235.
I was at a shop in Tokyo this afternoon and a couple of Japanese guys I asked who are also looking around swear to the quality of this lens, aparently at par with the Fuji's and Nikkor 90mm wide lenses that Mr. Thalman(very informative article by theway!) and many others admire.
Perhaps, someone in the forum could be using the same Topcor 90mm lens I mentioned above. I wonder how it performs.
My apologies for the long post, I hope the details above wont mistook this lens to the Topcor lenses that Horseman made for its medium format press camera.
Thank you very much.
Jules
