Yeah, I'll post my first one, now that it's like two weeks old!

(this was before I got that I could scan two halves and stitch...)

cool, thanks. i'll look in to it. i think i'll sell my 4x5 mono-rail (i don't have any studio lighting anymore so doubt i will use it) and my 360mm and 180mm lenses, keep the 150mm and pick up a press camera later on in the year.

This is a old style of playground where you still have a sand pit instead of some bouncy mat.

Finally i bought a Canonscan 9000f and stitch 2 scans together to make the complete photo.
The film was not loaded all the way into the film holder. That is why the right side was abruptly cut off although it was complete in the ground glass.

Left bottom corner suffers from vignetting which i never notice in the GG.

This was my first LF shot.
Shot with a Linhof Master Technika (4x5) on Fuji Acros 100. Processed in a lab.
Scanned with Epson F-3200, blue duplex in PS.

My first 4x5 shot ever..a quick and dirty portrait of my dad. I was anxious to see if i loaded the film holder right ( i didn't muck up, thankfully). I was more apprehensive about the developing ( i did this in an AP tank meant for 135/120 film..via the 'taco' method) and i'm glad to report it works rather well).

My first shot is earlier in the thread, but this is the first properly exposed.

Old Town (aka Red Light District), Amsterdam. Gowlandflex 4x5 with Symmar-S 180mm, Fuji Velvia RVP50, scanned at 3200dpi with Epson V700.

Using sunny 16 I got f11 @ 1/30, and this is a bracket half a stop over. I think I'll have to rate Velvia 50 slightly slower, as the mid and low brackets were too dark and there was plenty of headroom in the highlights when I scanned.

I was surprised by the shallow DOF - I knew it was shallower moving to LF, but still. According to Cambridge in Colour's DOF calculator I should have gone all the way to f/32 to get the church steeple sharp!

Got also burned by the framing; I found a reason for the guides on the ground glass

I like it a lot. I wasn't there at the scene, but I might have tried to point the camera a little left, so that the tree trunks more evenly divided the upper part of the image.
