    Post your first (LF) shot

I suggested this in another thread, but feel that it got a bit lost. I think that it warrants its own Thread.

When I first started here, I was somewhat intimidated by the quality of results that people were submitting in various threads.

But we all must have started somewhere.

So, I would like to start by posting my first 4x5 shot. Due to some conflicting opinion on what constitutes LF, I won't put my first 6x17 shot...

So, for better or worse, please feel free to add your first LF shot.

Perhaps we can direct all Newbies to this Thread when they introduce themselves to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel!!

    Lachlan.

Old beaten up 75$ anniversary speed graphic & Uncoated ektar 127mm, 1sek f4.7, fortepan 400 film.. can't remember the dev.

I think i developed this on normal 120rollfilm jobo tank, with two same side spirals and one sheet off film cramped between of them. So, it's less than ideal.

This was the first shot I ever made on my then brand new Shen-Hao 4x5.Lens is the 150mm Nikkor-W that came with the Badger Graphics kit, and the film is Type 55.

This is a fabulous shot, and I feel also attests to the capabilities of Type 55. I wish somehow that the photo gods would see fit for someone to fill in for Polaroid's error in judgment.]

I'd love to see a print of this image.

The usual Speed Graphic & Ektar 127/4.7 combo. Film was Efke PL100, souped in Rodinal 1+50.

My first LF shot, first use of sheet film. I still remember the excitement - it wasn't that long ago

Went out in the fog last week to test out the 4x5. Looks like I missed a bit on the image circle and some light leak on the left side. Also the right edge is getting soft, might have to lens shop in the future. Used a Nagaoka field camera and a 13.5cm Zeiss Tessar, Fujifilm Pro160 and Kodak 320TXP. I've got a ways to go yet. Constructive critique is welcome.

    Cheers, Dave
