    Ink question

Will ultra chrome ink cartridges for the Epson 4800 printer work in a Epson 3800 printer? They both say K3 ultra chrome, but have different model numbers. Are they the same ink is what I'm asking,I don't want to mix up ink's.

    Re: Ink question

No you cannot use 4800 carts on 3800. The carts are physically different, even though the inks inside are the same.

    Re: Ink question

With some Epson cartridges it's possible to buy the larger cartridges, remove the ink, and load it into the smaller cartridges. I'm not sure if that's the case here.
