Just pick up these two lenses, very hard to find some information about. I have Rodenstock Eurynar 4,5/13,5 cm and I have collect some information, would like to know is 16.5 cm simmilar. For 16.5 cm there is not a word in collectors vadameccum? Serial refers that it was made between 1920-1930. Voigtlander Heliar is also verys nice. Pleae help with some more informations.

The Eurynar is an excellent lens but is more prone to suffer from flare as it has no cemented elements so 8 air/glass surfaces. But is should be very sharp.
Ole has a coated Eurynar, I looked into having mine coated and surprisingly it wasn't to bad a price, unfortunately the lens diameter & shutters are larger than comparative Tessar's etc and there was no way it would fit my 9x12 Patent Etui.

I have a coated 240 Eurynar and it is superbly sharp. I'm a big fan of dialyts in general.

Lens is not coated, I prefer as it is, it will be used uncoated, with lens hood and some filters. Already have some older lenses (Tessar, Angulon, E.Busch -Aplanats, E.Busch Nicola Perscheid etc..) and I love what I get. For #serious# work I have some modern Schneiders and Rodenstocks..thank you for link. :-))

It is factory coated and a relatively late f/4.5 one, circa 1952. I would sure like to run into some of the longer ones. I haven't tried it converted, but I will make a point of doing so.
16,5 cm is the typical normal focal length for 10x15.
