Dark Room Wall Paint Colour Choice

I'm about to paint the new plaster in my dark room when it occurred to me that the colour might be important to print making. If I choose a light colour will it have an effect on the prints, such as fogging when I am developing it in trays? Previously the wall was a wood grain veneer which remained dull with the safelight.

I was heading towards "China White" because it is throughout the house. It is actually a light green (think mint) colour and not white at all but it is lighter than dark, will it be an issue??
