    She and He, ambrotype 8x10"

I used One light source + big white panel as a reflector. This portrait I made using Dallmeyer 3B wide opened

    Great shot Jim...

Looks a bit familiar, there used to be a plum crazy running around here....a local - Phil - had built it and not sure where it went from there... NM ties maybe? Curious...

    Thanks,
    Dan

Thanks Dan. Unknown on where the car has been though. I met these folks at a local farmers market and snapped the car. (do we snap with an 8X10 and 15" petzval??)

Not real sure that would be considered a snap

I have a 2 year old (started late) and have yet to figure out the 'snap' with LF...

I had an ol' 1947 OshKosh Firetruck...that I had given to Phil....and regret it to this day, unfortunately code compliance was on me about where I had it parked, and had to do something with it fast....He had a little purple coupe at the time, also named plum crazy, he was finishing up....looked quite a bit similar...often a pretty small world...

    Thanks,
    Dan

    hey all,

here is some "lost" film i shot 6-10 months ago. a friend was at my place with his speed 4x5. we were playing with it when i said, "hey, lets shoot some color film...i got some!"

it was a petzval lens wide open. other than that i can not remember anything else....not even which friend owned the camera and lens!

very old and abused 160nc film. color shift, bad scanning, bad scanner operator, etc etc.
