    Kerik,
Here's what I did with motion pictures lens that I have been used with DSLR including Kinoptik, Kern , Cooke, Som Berthiot, Dallmeyer, B&L from Bolex , Bell Howell and others projector lenses are greats lens to use with all kinds adapters which available on Ebay from HK and Taiwan sellers.
The Pezvals, Veritos, Dallmeyer 4-6 inches are popular right now because they cover and easely mounted on 6x6 format .
I took 4- 6 inches B&L glued in the PVC and mounted on M42 mount ,from there you can easely screw it in any M42 Helicoid Focusing to Hassy . The M42 Helicoid focusing is available from 12mm to 90mm as you wish , custom order are available too and the good thing is the price are also very attractive. I have so much fun with these adapters . Please PM me you need more info . Regards. TT

Everywhere, any price. They were the standard portrait, projector, astronomy, lenses for over half a century. Prices vary widely.

TT, Interesting, I have a couple of small Petzvals coming this week and an old Hassleblad collecting dust. I didn't quite follow the setup above. Could you explain further? Thanks.
    Thanks,

    Hi Kirk,
You can buy already made Helicoid focusing with M42, M52 to Hassy mount around $ 100-150 on Ebay .
    For Example:
Your lens --> PVC Tub-->M42 or M52 -->Helicoid Focusing ( Variable Focusing length depend on your calculation. From macro 1:1 , 2:1 to infinity focus...you have to decide and know exactly when you order the Helicoid adapter) then from Helicoid is already mounted with the Hassy mount

I bought these lenses with all kinds and took the front part of the lens to convert , you can see here including the Cooke Deep Field Panchro which is wisely used in Motion Pictures back in the 50'. The 6 inches B& L petzval is on the left .

The Cooke Deep Field Panchro is completed and ready to mount on any camera depending what adapter mount you have.

    And the Result is here.

    Hope this helps,
    TT

    TT,

Where are you finding a helicoid with a hassy mount? I've been looking online and couldn't find it? Maybe I don't understand something.
    Thanks,

    Hi Kirk,
There is a few sellers here on the Bay like this one 380182322777 but it's pricey! And again if the lens too big for the M42 then you have to use step ring for step up or can be combined with this 220597726338 for better fit.
The guy that I often used is from Taiwan , he 's a fine machinist and his specialty are these kinds of adapters including Arri Mount .Anything you want! I will PM you once I found his info. Cheers. TT
